to the world's oldest, largest and greatest seven-day bicycle
tour. More than 10,000 fun-loving cyclists make the yearly trek
across the beautiful state of Iowa each year. Leave your "serious shoes"
at home; RAGBRAI is a rolling celebration, not a race.

RAGBRAI CHARTER PACKAGES FOR 2008
The Overland Touring Company's PLAN A is a complete round-trip transportation package from Lanesboro, Minn. to RAGBRAI's opening city, across the state of Iowa, and back to Lanesboro. It includes complete transportation for you, your bike and your baggage, departing Saturday morning, July 19, 2008. This is a camping ride. Sorry, but hotel space is virtually non-existent, so we'll move your tents, sleeping bags and air mattresses as well. We feature two stretch vans, two covered trailers for baggage and equipment, and lots of bike rack space. In addition, where possible, we arrange for private camping sites in the yards of private home owners in the overnight cities along the way. Our hosts allow the use of their facilities and sometimes they even feed us! Talk about great sites! We are fortunate to have put our tents down in some truly beautiful and quiet locations and have met the most wonderful and accommodating hosts. More amenities listed below.

Our PLAN B package includes everything listed in Plan A except transportation to and from RAGBRAI itself. You provide your own ride to the start of the ride at and home again.(Most folks arrange to be dropped off and picked up again.) We'll move you and your baggage across the state. More amenities listed below.

Both plans include:
No baggage restrictions.
Sunshower outdoor shower stalls. (You bring the sunshowers; we place them in the sun during the day.)
Pre-arranged camping locations on the yards of private homes.
Maps from bike route to camp sites.
Optional mid-route drop-off if you do not wish to ride an entire day.
Phone contact with support crew in case of emergency.
Cold beverage at the end of each day ... on us!
Hot coffee each morning ... on us!
Fun, camaraderie, silliness.

RAGBRAI CHARTER APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
Please read and follow carefully.
2. Register for RAGBRAI online at www.ragbrai.org/application-form.html. RAGBRAI uses an online registration process. You will be registering as a part of a GROUP, not an individual. When asked for the UNIQUE ID for Overland Touring Company, enter 0406. BE SURE TO INCLUDE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS FOR CONFIRMATION. DO NOT MAKE PAYMENT ONLINE. NOTE: Registering for RAGBRAI online does not guarantee passage on our charter. Space is reserved upon receipt of deposit and registration materials.
3. Although you are registering for RAGBRAI online, you will make payment by check, not by credit card. You will need to print out the waiver, sign it, and mail to to Overland Touring Company, not RAGBRAI. Include payment, as follows:

NOTE: At RAGBRAI's request, OTC collects the Des Moines Register ride fee and makes payment on your behalf. DO NOT write a separate check to RAGBRAI for the ride fee.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Refund requests received prior to April 30, 2008 will be honored in full.
Beginning May 1, 2008, a full refund will be made only if OTC is able to re-sell your tour package.
In either case, a $25 cancellation fee will be retained.
